We rent cottages and Recreational Vehicle (RV) space on weekdays (Monday - Thursday), weekends (Friday to Sunday), or week long (Monday to Sunday).  We do not currently offer daily, monthly, or seasonal long camping.

Our RV camping areas require self contained RV units (35 ft or less) as no power, water or septic is provided.  We also limit the number of RVs at any time, to provide additional space for your enjoyment.

Our cottages are three seasons and contain a small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and seating area.

Tent camping is not permitted.

We have the following reservation options listed below for 2025:

1) Weekday (Monday to Thursday - 2 night minimum)

• RV camping $60 per night
• Waterfront Cottage $200 per night plus 15% state occupancy tax and cash security deposit

2) Weekend (Friday to Sunday - 2 night minimum)

• RV camping $75 per night
• Waterfront Cottage $250 per night plus 15% state occupancy tax and cash security deposit

3) Holiday Weekends (Sunday night may be added at weekend rate - 2 night minimum)

• RV camping $75 per night
• Waterfront Cottage $250 per night plus 15% state occupancy tax and cash security deposit

Please note, we currently do not rent by individual night, month or season. Discounts are not provided for early check-outs.

Dock space may also be available for campground rentals, for an additional fee.

Please note

• a 50% deposit is required at time of booking and the remainder is due at least 14 calendar days prior to arrival. 
• A $100 cash security deposit is required for cottage rentals, and will be returned upon checkout, less any damages.
• In order to receive a full refund, you must cancel 14 days prior to your arrival date.  Cancelations under 14 days will result in forfeiture of deposits.  Refunds may take up to a 14-day processing time.  
• Payments may be made via check or cash, Venmo or Paypal (transaction fee added for Venmo and Paypal).

Our Cottages are waterfront one-bedroom units (queen bed), with kitchenette (including basic cookware and dishware), sitting area, bathroom, shower, power, AC, outside grill, patio or deck with table/seats.

Renters must bring their own linens (bedding, pillows, blankets, towels, etc.).  

We have a "leave no trace" policy and require the cottage left in same condition as check-in. 

Maximum overnight capacity is limited to two adults plus immediate children.  Tent or RV camping near the cottages is not permitted.

We are a semi-primitive family campground, we do not have defined camping sites, but instead we have two types of camping areas (field or woods).

We are limited to self-contained motorhomes, 5th wheels, and travel trailers (35ft or less in length) with working power, water, sleeping, bathing, and sanitary capabilities, are welcome.  We do not provide drinking water, power, or sanitary facilities for RV camping.  

We encourage the usage of RV solar charging.  For respect of other guests and neighbors, generator usage should be limited, and is not permitted between 8 pm to 9 am

RV camping is limited to one RV unit plus a tow or towed vehicle per reservation.  Tent camping is not permitted. 

RV sewage (black or grey) dumping is not available / permitted onsite.

To support our guests who are seeking to unwind and reconnect with nature, only registered renters are allowed on the property, unless previously agreed upon in writing by Pachaug Cottages.

Dock reservations for the next season open in January of the same calendar year.

Short term weekday or weekend dock / slip rentals are subject to availability.

Yes, we have packages available to reserve the facility, including one or more cottages, the RV camping areas, and the venue area for family or corporate events. Reservations may be made anytime for the current or future seasons, subject to availability.  Please contact us for additional information.

Yes! We have day-use rentals (4 hours) to our campers for $35 + tax - per unit

General:

• Check-in is between 1pm and before 9pm, checkout is no later than 11 am.   
• Guest's pets are prohibited
• Smoking (of any kind) is prohibited everywhere on the campground
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• We are a carry in / carry out site, please plan to take your trash with you.

Noise:

• The town of Griswold has a noise ordinance; disruptive noises are prohibited at all times.  For courtesy of other guests and our neighbors, quiet hours shall be observed between 10 pm and 9 am.

Vehicles:

• The speed limit on site is 5 MPH. 
• No maintenance of RV or vehicle is permitted on site. 
• Guest ATV’s/UTV’s, motorized scooters / carts, etc. are not permitted on site.

Parties & Events:

• Parties, large gatherings, events, etc. are not permitted near or in camping areas or cottages and must remain within the dedicated rented events space.

Water Activities:

• Kayak, paddle board or canoe launching is available from the property (water shoes recommended).  We do not have a swimming area.  
• If you have a boat, the state boat launch is located directly across the lake
